Produced in small batches exclusively from small Nandi Hills tea farms, oolong tea originates from the clone of the Assamica tea plant. A rare organic find that is meticulously hand-plucked, withered, tossed, panned, rolled and then dried, resulting in an exquisite cup of tea.
Our Oolong tea is grown in the lush highlands of Nandi Hills, Kenya without any pesticides or chemicals. The leaves unfurls info a whole leaf to give you the full flavour and health benefits.
How Does it Taste
A partially oxidized tea with fruity or floral note with a hint of honey, that can served with or without milk. The aroma once steeped is fragrant, and with a very smooth taste with no bitterness or astringency.
Ingredients: Kenyan Oolong Tea, Organic
How To Prepare
1 teaspoon (2-3 gm) of loose oolong tea for each 150 ml water
Boil water to 90 c – 100 c/194 °F – 212 °F
Pour freshly boiled water over the tea
Steep 3 to 5 minutes
For a second cup, resteep the tea for 6 minutes
Serve and enjoy
How to Prepare Iced Tea (1 Litre/Quart)
Add 6 heaps of oolong tea into the teapot
Pour 1 and ¼ cup/315 ml boiling water to the tea. Steep 5 minutes
Quarter fill serving pitcher with cold water. Pour into pitcher straining the tea.
Add ice, top-up with cold water, garnish and sweeten to taste
